I have a habit of saving emails. At least once I month, I weed through them and clean out my inbox. I save the ones that mean something to me. I found one concerning the stages of the butterfly that a friend sent me. I don’t recall what event was occurring in our lives, but I find it applicable today as well.
What’s interesting, is that she is due with her second son next month. I can’t wait to meet the little guy. So Kara, I’m raising my glass to you! Cheers to amazing friends, new life and dreams!
The stages of the butterfly:
1. Egg – where thoughts and ideas begin
2. Larva – making decisions from the ideas
3. Cocoon – developing them into reality
4.Butterfly – birthing from the chrysalis – sharing the creation with the world
All stages of this are important and just remembering where one is at any time in one’s cycle is reassuring.
A quote by Maya Angelou – “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty”.
Until Next Time…
