Years ago while working at a staffing agency I attended a workshop “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. We participated in group and individual exercises. During those three days I realized a dream that I’d buried over the years due to life and the responsibility of raising children as a single mom for eight years. That dream was to write. I’d always had that passion, but I dug deeper and reconnected with my purpose. I realized I had stories to share, ones that could make a difference in someone’s life and bring hope and change.
Behind the passion is a purpose, but most don’t recognize what that purpose is. Without that, during the times of trial so many people give up and place their dreams on hold or throw them away permanently. And each time a part of you withers inside not living a life with hope and passion. People turn grumpy and bitter. I know this from first hand experience.
Many of my subscribers are also writers, each with a unique story to share, and each with a different purpose. If you don’t recognize your “why” take some time to think and identify it. Connect with your purpose and passion again.
Until Next Time…
